What is the Grant in Aid?

Money is given to students with a financial needs so they may participate
in music festivals, auditions, or competitions

Why it’s offered:

To encourage students to achieve success in their musical studies

Who may apply:

Piano students of MVMTA members

What events qualify:

  • MMTA Contest or
    Theory Exams
  • Guild Auditions
  • other similar competitions and festivals

What doesn’t qualify:

It cannot be used for private lessons, recital fees, or music.

How often:

Students may apply for one grant per year.

Amount given:

Up to 50% of the fee requested


How to apply:

Print out the grant application below and submit it by May 1st.
